Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes)

I took this image in October 2005, in Sussex with my first digital Pentax. I am miffed about the piece of grass across the right side of the face, but love the clarity of the image. Why is it that with my new equipment and more expensive lens I still can't recreate the same sharpness?

Sydney Opera House from Quay West

Thank heavens for jet lag, else I would definitely not have been up at 4:30am to grab a taxi over to central Sydney to grab this shot from the opposite side of the water. What a magical morning.
